01 Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Infinite Hitpoints Inc., located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada ("we," "us," or "our"), handles personal information collected through the MAX HP pre-launch website at infinitehitpoints.com and its contact channels.
This policy is for the marketing website. The Healthpoint Hero app and any future connected MAX HP device features may involve additional information and will need their own applicable privacy disclosures.
02 Information we collect
- Early-access signup: Your email address and the consent choice you submit when you join the launch list.
- Messages to us: Your email address and any information you choose to include when contacting support@infinitehitpoints.com.
- Basic website and security data: Hosting and anti-spam providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request timestamps, and related logs when you visit the site or send a form.
The pre-launch website does not ask you to enter health metrics, exercise sessions, payment card information, or a Healthpoint Hero character profile.
03 How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- send MAX HP and Healthpoint Hero launch updates to people who consent;
- respond to support requests and questions;
- operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website and signup process;
- prevent fraudulent or automated submissions; and
- meet applicable legal obligations.
We use personal information only for purposes that are disclosed or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
04 Your choice about launch emails
Signing up for launch emails is optional. The signup form asks you to actively consent before submitting. If you subscribe, we may send product announcements and promotional updates related to MAX HP and Healthpoint Hero.
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe instructions in a message or by emailing support@infinitehitpoints.com. We will process withdrawal requests in accordance with applicable law. Unsubscribing does not prevent us from responding to a separate question you send us.
05 Service providers and transfers
We use Netlify to host the website and handle pre-launch form submissions. Netlify uses spam-detection services, including Akismet, to filter submissions. The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive technical connection information when your browser requests fonts.
These providers process information on our behalf or in connection with delivering their services. Information may be processed or stored outside Alberta or Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We do not sell your signup email address.
If we begin using a separate mailing-list provider or add analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this policy and provide any further choices or notices required by law.
06 Cookies and similar technologies
The current pre-launch website does not include our own advertising trackers or behavioural advertising pixels. Our hosting and service providers may use essential technical processes, logging, or cookies in connection with delivery, security, or spam prevention. External font requests can also involve data sent to the font provider.
Browser controls may allow you to restrict cookies, but doing so can affect how some websites work.
07 Retention and security
We keep signup and correspondence information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as otherwise required or permitted by law. You can request deletion of information associated with your signup by contacting us.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved and rely on our service providers' security protections. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
08 Access, correction, and privacy questions
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent, or ask us to delete information that is no longer needed. To make a request, email support@infinitehitpoints.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
You may also raise a concern with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or another regulator with jurisdiction.
09 Children
We do not intentionally solicit personal information from children through this promotional site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate steps.
10 Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our website and services evolve. We will post the updated policy here and change the effective date. If an update materially changes how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice or choices when required.
